Back in 1958 Louis Lee started a rock garden and keep building for 50 years until he died in 2006. He filled his small yard with hundreds of arches, built of adobe brick, and covered them with glued-on bells, vases, plastic toys, seashells, golf balls, licenses plates, empty beer bottles, piggy banks, hubcaps, sports trophies, theater masks, fragments of dinnerware, and a picture frame made from a toilet seat.
His son now preserves the rock garden it is private property and can be seen from the road I am unaware if they still give tours or what the status is.
