The hike often involves following a pipeline access road for a portion and then a footpath to the falls. The trail is generally considered easy to navigate. Parking is available along a forest road near the trailhead.
The best time to see the falls with good water flow is after heavy rainfall or in the springtime following snowmelt. The area around the falls is described as pristine and beautiful, with large boulders and a grotto-like setting.
